Description
G-Lift Connecting Loops are single wire loops that connect precast wall panels to each other or to structural columns. The loop is made of 1770 MPa zinc-plated wire rope and sits in a galvanized steel casing.
The loop pops up after casting, so it does not need to be bent out by hand. Four sizes from 80 to 140 mm are listed.
Key Features and Benefits
Galvanized wire loop
The loop is zinc-plated wire rope with a tensile strength of 1770 MPa.
Automatic pop-up
The loop rises automatically after casting, which removes manual rebending.
Pre-punched nail holes
Nail holes allow quick fixing to the formwork.
Galvanized steel casing
The casing gives stability during fixing and concreting.
Tear-off tape
Tear-off tape releases the loop without tools.
Applications and Use Cases
Connecting Loops are used for:
- Wall-to-wall butt junctions in precast panels
- Wall-to-column connections
- Connections using a ribbed steel bar through the wire rope loop
