Description
GSPF Adhesive Anchors are a chemical anchoring system: a two-component pure epoxy supplied at a 3:1 ratio, marketed by GSPF under the Step One name. A static mixing nozzle blends the two components as they are dispensed, so there is no resin and hardener to measure out on site.
The system comes with cartridges, static mixing nozzles, dispensing tools and hole-cleaning accessories. The adhesive is coloured to help monitor application, and it is styrene-free and odourless, which suits indoor use.
Key Features and Benefits
Pure epoxy, two components
The 3:1 two-component epoxy is a pure epoxy formulation intended for structural bonding. No bond strength or load values are published.
Mixing at the nozzle
The static mixer produces a consistent, uniform mix, with no on-site preparation.
Indoor-friendly formulation
The formulation is styrene-free, odourless and non-toxic, with good chemical resistance.
Working time and visibility
An extended working time gives flexibility during installation, and the colour helps inspection and application control.
Applications and Use Cases
Adhesive Anchors are used for:
- Installing manhole ladder rungs and heavy-duty infrastructure accessories
- Fixing handrails, machinery, gates, wall tiles, safety fencing and ground anchors
- Anchoring temporary formwork, road barriers and canopy structures
- Indoor fixings such as wall cabinets, bathroom fittings and air conditioning supports
- General anchoring where mechanical expansion anchors are not suitable
Suitability for structural or safety-critical fixings depends on the technical data for the system, the condition of the base material and the project requirements.
