Description
G-Lift Two-Hole Anchors are flat anchors for lifting thin precast panels and panels of low compressive strength. The two holes allow an additional rebar or tension bar to be inserted, which helps distribute the tension force deeper into the concrete.
The anchor is used where a spread-type anchor cannot be used, including lightweight concrete elements and the stripping of panels from tilt tables.
Key Features and Benefits
Two-hole design
The holes accept an additional rebar or tension bar, which increases the resistance transmitted into the concrete.
Rebar-dependent capacity
The capacity depends on the diameter and length of the rebar used: longer bars provide greater resistance within the Safe Working Load (SWL) limit.
Low profile
The insert has a low profile, so it protrudes little from the panel.
Shear loads
The anchor can also be used where a shear load is applied perpendicular to its face.
Applications and Use Cases
Two-Hole Anchors are used for:
- Lifting thin precast panels
- Panels of low compressive strength
- Stripping panels from tilt tables
- Lightweight concrete elements
- Applications where spread-type anchors cannot be used

Sizes are given as a load figure followed by the anchor length. The load the anchor carries depends on the rebar fitted and the concrete, so specify the rebar arrangement in the lifting design.

Buy Two-Hole Anchors from Global Source Middle East
Two-hole anchors are chosen for thin or weaker panels, and the rebar fitted decides how much load the anchor can carry. Global Source Middle East supplies G-Lift Two-Hole Anchors to precast producers in the UAE. Send the panel thickness, concrete and load for a quotation.
Frequently Asked Questions
When is a two-hole anchor used instead of a spread anchor?
It is used for thin panels, low-compressive-strength concrete and lightweight concrete, where a spread-type anchor cannot be used.
How is the rebar chosen?
The rebar diameter and length are part of the lifting design: longer bars give greater resistance within the SWL limit.
Can it be used with a spread anchor?
The head of the Spread Anchor matches the head of the Two-Hole Anchor.
