Description
G-Lift Lifting Sockets are steel sockets cast into precast concrete elements to provide a threaded point for lifting. Each socket has a cross-hole through which a reinforcement bar is placed, so the load is carried into the concrete unit, and a pressed-plastic stopper keeps concrete out of the thread during casting.
The range covers eight round-thread sizes from Rd 12 to Rd 52, with height, width and depth dimensions for each size.
Key Features and Benefits
Cross-hole for reinforcement bar
A cross-hole in each socket accommodates a reinforcement bar, which ties the socket into the reinforcement of the concrete unit.
Pressed-plastic stopper
The stopper prevents concrete from entering the thread while the element is cast, so the thread is clean when the lifting accessory is fitted.
Eight sizes
Rd 12 to Rd 52, with dimensions h, e and a and a Safe Load figure for each size.
Wide element range
Suitable for precast walls, slabs, beams and pipes.
Applications and Use Cases
Lifting Sockets are used for:
- Precast wall panels
- Floor slabs and beams
- Precast pipes
- Industrial precast components
